Endurance star closes in on 300 career records

Balsall Common’s Paddy Doyle took his career tally for various forms of endurance and stamina record challenges to 297 at Stamina’s Gym in Erdington, Birmingham on June 3rd 2013, this time with a World Record for full contact punch strikes under the strain of a 40lb backpack and 2lb wrist weights.

The one minute challenge saw former paratrooper Paddy comprehensively beat the record (337) set two weeks earlier by Ahmad Amin Bodla in Lahore, with the stunning total of 420 confirmed strikes.

Paddy only has 3 more agonising successful record attempts to make it 300 National, European and World Records records, spanning a career he started in the 1980s, of which 195 are still current today.
