The event team, led by Lions President Marie-Louise Marsden are working on a ‘Party in the Park’ style event earmarked to take place at the Lant sports ground on Meeting House Lane in Balsall Common. The family event, which will have many attractions including live tribute bands, is expected to run from early afternoon and onwards into the evening.  Marie-Louise said:

“We’re really keen to put on a party that will stay in people’s memories for many years to come. We have been delighted with the response from village organisations. We are keen to hear from anyone who would like to help either with their own stall or who has a couple of hours free on the day to help run the event.”
