A star-studded Berkswell side containing two former internationals went clear at the top of the Premier Division of the world-famous Birmingham & District League at Meeting House Lane yesterday, despite their game being abandoned due to rain, thanks to bonus points earned whilst dominating their top of the table clash against visitors West Bromwich.

Berkswell now stand alone at the head of a league that boasts the best club sides from across Warwickshire, The West Midlands, Worcestershire, Staffordshire and Shropshire.
