Balsall Common Festival is set to take place on Saturday 20th September 2014 complete with live music and the village’s first ever Fun Run. Organisers are on the lookout for project planners and other volunteers to help bring the project to life.
Balsall Common’s local country market departs from its’ usual day and location tomorrow (Sunday 25th August 2013) when its’ traders turn out at Ye Olde Saracens Head from 1pm until 4pm, to bring local produce and crafts to the attention of pub regulars and visiting diners.
Visitors tomorrow will find the usual Sunday options including Sunday roasts and 2-course set menu.
Ye Olde Saracens Head in Balsall Common is launching a new weekly ‘Thursday’s only’ offer today with half-priced house champagne. For anybody who hasn’t visited in the last six months this could be the excuse you need to see the impressive overhaul following last November’s relaunch.
The steaks from their £12,000 charcoal oven are something to behold too. Pretty special.
