The Brickmakers Arms on Station Road in Balsall Common is the long running venue for the Round Table’s regular monthly quiz, the next of which takes place tomorrow (Wednesday 31st August) from 8pm. These popular quiz nights have been a popular staple at the venue on the last Wednesday of every month for a number of years and continue to draw an enthusiastic audience.

The Railway Inn on Station Road, Balsall Common is set to play host host to an open invitation series of pool contests by day and disco by night in a bid to raise funds for the Acorns Childrens Charity. The pool tournament which takes place from 1pm on Sunday 28th August will be offering a variety of pool contests, including games of Killer and Speed Pool, with other competitions and raffle taking place during the day.
