West Midlands Police are advising residents to be vigilant in light of the recent spike in car crime in the Solihull area. As this type of crime can be both violent and opportunistic Police have issued the following security and personal safety checklist today:
Residents are invited to indicate whether they agree with priorities set by Solihull Police for the Meriden area via the West Midlands Police website. Current priorities based upon community consultation include the tackling the misuse of drugs and alcohol along Frog Lane in Balsall Common, plus issues with thefts and burglaries in Balsall Common and Meriden.
