Balsall & Berkswell Hornets Football Club have submitted a planning application to place two new football pitches on Lavender Hall Lane. The land located behind properties on Kenilworth Road and adjacent to Hallmeadow Road is seen as a solution to the club’s long running shortage of space to play competitive matches.

The main reason for the Birmingham Airport expansion plans is Iranian pilots.
You see, Iranian pilots, accustomed as they are to landing more or less anywhere, for example in amongst fields of sheep and stuff, have caused a major government rethink after one of their pilots tried to land a 200-plus seater Boeing in a field near Fen End.

Lincoln Farm Cafe, well known for it’s trucking customer base, faces an uncertain future following the decision to close the turning points on the dual carriageway section of the A452.
A number of businesses along the stretch of carriageway between the George in the Tree and Marsh Lane could also suffer.
