The Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship qualifying tournament takes place at Berkswell’s Nailcote Hall on Monday 8th July with entry into the £100,000 National Championships at the same venue available to the top 6 finishers on the day. The qualifying competition will be contested by upwards of 80 professional golfers from the TP tour.
Picturesque Nailcote Hall in Berkswell is home to the increasingly well-known par 3 Cromwell golf course. The challenging course has has won praise from such golfing luminaries as Ian Woosnam and former 6-times Ryder Cup star Brian Barnes and all-time great Tony Jacklin who is on record as saying:
“Nailcote is a true test of short game ability”.
Nailcote’s 9-hole course has been lovingly redeveloped over the years to the point that no lesser a player than Brian Barnes recently remarked that Cromwell qualified as:
“A gem of a short course, Augusta does not compare with Nailcote.”
