Balsall Common Pharmacy on Station Road has launched a £9.49 ‘walk-in’ flu vaccination service for all those folk who don’t qualify for free vaccinations through their local surgeries, offering an incredibly convenient way to avoid this year’s winter bugs. The vaccination service is available 7 days every week, thanks to the store’s 100 hours per week opening policy.
Balsall Common girls can win an opportunity to dance at this year’s Clothes Show Live at auditions hosted by the Animated Dance Academy this Thursday at Heart of England School. Chloe Dance, who runs regular dance sessions for girls aged from 6 years to 18, at the school on Tuesday evenings says:
“This Thursday is a massive opportunity for girls in Balsall Common to get into our Dance Team and perform at The Clothes Show Live.”
Balsall Common’s new medical centre, visible from Hallmeadow Road will open after May Day Bank holiday on Tuesday 8th May 2012. The existing surgery on Meeting House Lane will close for the final time on Friday 4th May.
Balsall Common residents will have access to NHS dental services with the arrival of the new medical centre, construction of which is nearing completion on Meadowhall Road on land next to the Brickmakers Arms. The launch date for the service is yet to be announced but is expected to be available from April 2012.
