Clotted cream teas come to Berkswell this Easter

If you didn’t fancy the long trek and traffic jams involved with taking an Easter weekend break in Devon or Cornwall at least the clotted cream tea experience will still be available if you decided to stop at home.

In fact its not just clotted cream teas as Fay explains:

“Well Elise and I had vision of creating a tea and homemade cake shop as we felt the local area was crying out for a lovely friendly place but we thought we would start small. We found out that Berkswell reading rooms used to have afternoon teas and the committee thought it would be great if we could start something again. So here we are baking lots of yummy classic recipes and hope to achieve a friendly community atmosphere where families and friends can enjoy a lovely cup of tea or coffee and a slice of something delicious on a Sunday afternoon!”

Fay’s afternoon clotted cream teas come to Berkswell Reading Rooms on Easter Sunday (31st March 2013) from 2pm until 5pm and will run on the first Sunday of every month afterwards from May.
