The police are now publishing crime statistics for December 2010 including a street level breakdown. Arden Close comes out top (or bottom we should say) with three crimes reported for Anti Social Behaviour, Burglary and “Other”. To find out more follow this link to the police.uk website

A Windmill Lane resident convicted of £300,000 of fraudulent transactions, pleaded guilty at Warwick Crown Court, after looking to shift blame on to a dead colleague when he was first apprehended.

There was a ramraid on HSBC today (17th January 2011) at 4.30pm. We know that robbers targeted the branch after closing as the ATM was being replenished with cash and that some cash was taken. An employee was injured. The brown stolen gettaway car was later found abandoned. Four arrests (2 men and 2 women) have been made.
