Stop HS2 campaign takes a pop at Christmas chart success

The Stop HS2 action group have the Christmas charts in their sites, having found themselves musical allies willing to pen a fundraising song with a Christmas ring to it. The Balsall Common Christmas Fayre Saturday 26th November

The Balsall Common Christmas Fayre takes place this year on Saturday 26th November from 1pm until 4pm at Balsall Common Primary School (Balsall Street East).

This is Balsall Common’s largest Christmas community charity event, hosting dozens of stalls including local businesses selling Christmas gifts. Money raised will directly benefit local children.

If you or your children attended the school in years gone by, then this is a good opportunity to visit an old haunt and reminisce. Likewise, if you’re new to the community (or just don’t get out that much) then come along and get that early Christmas tingle.

Balsall Common Primary School Appeal

It's Chriiiiiissssstmaaaaassss ... in a couple of months.

It’s hard to believe that Balsall Common primary school is 98 years young isn’t it? We’ve been contacted by the parent-teachers association (a registered charity) to appeal to local businesses and individuals who would like to take out an advert in this years Christmas Brochure. The brochure is delivered to 3500 homes locally and we can best describe it as “look local on steroids”.

The adverts cost between £20 and £60 and the money raised will go towards improving the lives of the next generation of BC’ers… but don’t delay as the deadline is 21st October for early November delivery.
