The Brickmakers Arms will be doing the Cheltenham races in style next Friday (16th March 2012) by throwing a Gold Cup Party and inviting everybody to dress up and see all the big day’s races on their big screens on Station Road in Balsall Common.
Brickmakers in Balsall Common to stage quiz in aid of troops
Help for Heroes and Troop Aid return to the Brickmakers Arms for a quiz and raffle fundraiser on Wednesday 7th March 2012 thanks to the success of previous nights at the venue. All proceeds from the event will be divided between the two charities.

Brickmakers Arms in Balsall Common fizzed up, refreshed and raring to go
The Brickmakers Arms has been quietly undergoing a transformation over the course of the last week and is set to open its’ doors officially with a new look from 7pm this evening. The ‘snug bar’ has remained open whilst the main bar and old pool-room have undergone an intensive refreshment process and landlady Victoria Hancox is looking forward to greeting folk with some hospitality to enjoy the new feel of the place,
“The refurb is nearly finished, we’re just putting on the finishing touches right now.” says Victoria, “We’ll be right and ready to greet folk with some ‘fizz and nibbles’ from 7 O’Clock this evening”

The girls are invited to get themselves down to the Brickmakers Arms tomorrow evening (Wednesday 23rd November) for their ‘Big Night In’ night of fun, games and goodies. It’s an Ann Summers goodies night, with possibly some more treats to be announced later on, just in time for party-goers to avail themselves of Christmas stocking fillers.
