Full-scale ground planning is now underway for the Balsall Common fete and party in the park in Balsall Common on Saturday 28th September 2013 and whilst some types of pitches are fully allocated event Chairman Marie-Louise Marsden is still listening to applications from clubs and local businesses if what they have to offer brings a new facet to the event.

Balsall Common fete organisers on the hunt for prize donations

‘By the community for the community’ is the motto for Balsall Common’s biggest event in 2013. A wide cross-section of the local community has come together to create a fete and live music event which aims to raise money for local causes.

 

Among the many stalls attractions and live acts will be a prize draw stall for which co-ordinator Lynda Dandy is looking for donations. Lynda, an active member of the Balsall Common Lions and Balsall Common Village Hall Committee is aiming to build an attractive array of prizes:
