19 year old singer-songwriter and former Heart of England pupil Paris Tredell, better known on the local music scene these days as Paris Georgia, has released her new Song of the Month for fans old and new.
The Paris Georgia fan club is growing at an incredible rate locally, following her recent performances in the hotly contested Balsall’s Got the Voice competition, the finals of which took place at the Balsall Common Festival on Saturday 20th September 2014.
Many festival-goers were shocked when Paris didn’t make the cut for the Top 4 sing-off, a decision which underlined the strength of competition and difficult job the judges had on their hands on Finals Day.
Meet Paris here performing piano and vocals in her interpretation of SIA’s Chandelier:

On behalf of The Lily Mae Foundation, I just wanted to say a massive “Thank You” for your tremendous support for the first ever Balsall Common Fun Run on Saturday 20th September as part of the Festival of Fun organised for that day. The Charity was asked by the Balsall Common Festival Committee to organise the Run for the benefit of all those living and working in Balsall Common.
The runners and marshals commented on the superb atmosphere that you created along the route and at the start and finish line at the Heart of England School. Thank you for the many donations that you gave to the runners to be passed on to our Charity. Thank you too for the drinks, sweets and chocolate that you handed to the runners as they passed your homes.
Ex-England and British Lions rugby player Tim Stimpson hits the roads with around 500 runners as he participates in Balsall Common’s inaugural Fun Run, part of the Balsall Common Festival, on Saturday 20th September 2014.
9 year old Dylan Baldwin flew the flag for Lady Katherine School at the Berkswell Royal British Legion on Friday 8th August as he won his place in the Finals of Balsall’s Got the Voice, the music talent section of this year’s Balsall Common Festival.
Dylan won the judges over with his rendition of OneRepublic’s well-known single Counting Stars, which saw him bravely take on significantly older and more experienced competition. Dylan now carries the hopes of Lady K into the finals at The Lant on Saturday 20th September 2014 and we all wish him well.
