Organisers of this year’s Balsall’s Got the Voice competition raised the stakes for this year’s competition last night with the announcement that Shabby Road Studios in Coventry have pledged two days worth of studio time for the overall winner to add to Brum Beat Music Ltd’s 12 month management deal. Shabby Road’s Principal Neil Teago also pledged additional studio time for age category winners, to really add some spice to proceedings.
The announcement came during last night’s 2nd Heat of the popular competition, held at the Berkswell & District Royal British Legion, which drew another quality field to compare favourably with the first Heat in June.
Eight competitors now find themselves eagerly awaiting this year’s Quarter Finals to be held at the Berkswell Legion on Friday 11th September, with more expected to join them from a third heat at the same venue on Friday 21st August 2015.
It is still possible to enter this year’s competition, the finals of which take place on the Main Stage at the Balsall Common Festival on Saturday 19th September 2015.
