Bugle magazine to be delivered to homes early August

The latest edition of ‘The Bugle’ magazine is to be delivered to homes in the area by local Lions International volunteers throughout early August.

Changes to bus services through Balsall Common

Balsall Common Village Residents Association have contacted us with information on significant changes to village bus services which came into effect yesterday (Monday 26 July 2010). Sainsburys allowed to sell alcohol till 11pm

Despite objections from a number of sources including Meriden ward MP Caroline Spelman, Sainsburys have been granted a licence to sell alcohol between 7am and 11pm from their 24 hour store in Balsall Common.

The store which has yet to be built, is set to permanently change the face of village centre shopping.
