Bugle magazine to be delivered to homes early August

The latest edition of ‘The Bugle’ magazine is to be delivered to homes in the area by local Lions International volunteers throughout early August.

Changes to bus services through Balsall Common
Paddy Doyle to take on 30 mile Grand Union speed march
Balsall Common’s former paratrooper and Guinness World Records Fitness Endurance Champion Paddy Doyle is aiming to set a new benchmark for a 30 mile speed march along the Grand Union Canal carrying a 60 lb back pack.
Sainsburys allowed to sell alcohol till 11pm
Despite objections from a number of sources including Meriden ward MP Caroline Spelman, Sainsburys have been granted a licence to sell alcohol between 7am and 11pm from their 24 hour store in Balsall Common.

The store which has yet to be built, is set to permanently change the face of village centre shopping.
