Balsall Common’s hugely popular end-of-Summer Festival is back for a 6th successive showing with over 8 hours of non-stop entertainment on Saturday 23rd September 2017.
This popular event – recently named by the Birmingham Mail as a Top 5 event for the region this weekend – has attracted over 5000 visitors over the previous two years. This year’s visitors can expect a similar Fete and Party in the Park format, with over 70 stalls, plus live music all day.

Fete & Party in the Park (Gates Open 1pm)
“Come and join us at the Fete for a fun-filled family afternoon from 1pm to 5:00pm,” says Festival Chairman Joy Fine:
“You will find a wide variety of stalls with something for all ages, with over 70 in total. There will be rides, games, craft activities, entertainment, food and drink stalls, information about local clubs and local issues, not forgetting the dog show!”
“Come along and enjoy yourselves and why not stay on for the evening entertainment – our Party in the Park?”
Fete (Ends 5:o0pm)
Fete fans are advised to get arrive early to avoid disappointment. The fete packs away at 5pm, paving the way for stallholders to dance into the dark at Party in the Park.
Party in the Park (Ends 9:30pm)
The live music and entertainment on the Main Stage gets underway as soon as the gates open at 1pm (see Line-Up details for information) and runs right through to 9:30pm. Highlights on the Main Stage include Chasing Deer and headline band The 80s Experience, signed for the night as usual by event sponsors Nailcote Hall.

About the Bengal Brasserie
The Bengal Brasserie restaurant has been serving customers in Balsall Common since the early 1990’s, with a friendly, welcoming team that’s enthusiastically supported a wide range of community projects throughout their history in the village.
