For Adult membership visit on a Saturday afternoon (2pm-5pm) or Tuesday evening (7pm-9pm); there are always people playing and just ask anyone about membership and how they enjoy the club and it’s facilities.
For Junior membership come along between 4.30pm and 6pm each weekday, or on Saturday morning between 10.00am and 12.00pm when the coaching staff are at the club. They will be able to give you more details of junior sessons that match the ability of your child.
Berkswell and Balsall Common Tennis Club is located on Meeting House Lane, Balsall Common. Organised adult club sessions are held on Tuesday evenings and Saturday afternoons, with regular competitions held at weekends. There is a very active junior membership, with structured coaching at individual and group levels available throughout the week. The club is near the village centre and is part of the Berkswell & Balsall Common Sports & Community Association, which manages the grounds and building on behalf of the Lant Trust.
The club has 6 astroturf all weather courts, all of which are floodlit.
The club has several teams in the Coventry & District league, with both men’s and ladies teams playing at various levels. There is a very active junior membership, with structured coaching at individual and group levels available. The club holds an annual closed championship, with both men’s and ladies competing for singles and doubles titles, with an open competition and by age groups.

Berkswell Cricket Club is one of the top cricket clubs in the West Midlands and is situated at the Lant Sports and Community Ground on Meeting House Lane in Balsall Common. The club offers cricketing opportunities for all ages and abilities from beginners aged 7 years upwards right through to ECB Premier Division semi-professional cricket.

The club finished a creditable 4th position in its' first Premier Division campaign in 2012 and has placed in the top half ever since. The Premier Division sits at the top of a four division league, which in turn sits at the head of a four county pyramid feeder system (Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Shropshire and Staffordshire). The Birmingham League's Premier Division is widely regarded the highest level of cricket attainable outside the county game and as a result regularly attracts famous overseas players from the Test Arena. Berkswell’s pre-season indoor training for senior cricketers runs at Kenilworth Wardens Cricket Club’s indoor facility, before moving outside at Berkswell’s Meeting House Lane ground in Balsall Common. The club runs 3 senior sides on Saturdays plus two more on Sundays. New faces are always welcome across a wide spectrum of abilities because of the wide range of levels of competition the club competes in.
The club also welcomes youth cricketers from the age of 7 years upwards. Berkswell’s youngsters are privileged enough to enjoy access to some of the best coaches in the Midlands, courtesy of top coaching consultancy Complete Cricket, whom provide regular access to current and former county professionals. The training focuses on a wide range of skills, drills, technique and fitness in all areas of the game, whilst fostering a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
Senior Winter Training
Senior winter nets will take place at the indoor centre at Kenilworth Wardens CC for 10 weeks from Tuesday 4th February 2014.
