  1. Baby Sensory celebrates two years in Balsall Common. Parents and their babies (birth to 13 months) have been enjoying award winning Baby Sensory classes in Balsall Common thanks to Nina Keane.

You are probably aware of a range of different activities for babies in your area, but you may not have heard of Baby Sensory. If you have, then you will know that this is one activity that provides a wealth of ideas for stimulating or soothing your baby as well as an all-round sensory experience!

Classes combine a various stimulating activities such as fibre optic light shows, bouncy light balls, rainbows, bubbles, bells, massage, themes sessions with exploratory playtime. Baby Sensory is designed to encourage early development. Babies can absorb twice the amount of information that college students do!

Nina is confident you’ll love Baby Sensory and she offers the first fun filled session free.
Baby Sensory classes take place at St Peters Church Hall, Holly Lane, Balsall Common, CV7 7EA If you would like more information visit or contact Nina Keane on 07971 945242 or email

  2. Rhythm Time music classes run in Balsall Common on Monday morning and Thursday morning and afternoons in the Village Hall. There are seperate classes for babies, toddlers and preschoolers (3+) .

The classes are music based and were written by a qualified music teacher, Kathy Doolan. Kathy started the classes here in Balsall Common some 16 years ago and now there are classes all over the UK!

The classes are fun for the children – but they are learning at the same time – not only musical concepts but also general development such as speech and language and hand/eye co-ordination. Its also a great place to meet other Mums!!
