Organisers of this year’s Balsall Common Festival have raised the stakes of their inaugural talent competition, ‘Balsall’s Got the Voice’, by putting a 12 month recording and management contract up for grabs to the ultimate winner, courtesy of new music Company Brumbeat Music Ltd.,

Festival Chairman Craig Burgess explains:

“We were surprised at the high standard of our first group of qualifiers and wanted to go out and find a prize worth fighting for. We’re delighted that Brumbeat Music were similarly impressed and put an amazing offer on the table for one lucky winner.”

Brumbeat Music will be offering a 12 month recording and management contract, complete with coaching, mentoring, promotion and marketing that will include help getting gigs and onto playlists.

Balsall’s Got the Voice ins organised and MC’d on behalf of Balsall Common Festival by Yasmin Zahran, leader of local performing arts group Triple Fret and leading light at Centre Stage. ‘Yaz’ is still on the lookout for talent to make up the final dozen finalists, with a qualifying competition coming up on Friday 12th September at the Berkswell Royal British Legion.
