Balsall Common Taekwon-Do Club to lead world record breaking attempt in aid of Cancer Research

Balsall Common Taekwon-Do club training in the Heart of England school sports hall.

Students of the martial arts club based at the Heart of England School are busy organising a world record Taekwon-Do open air display in the Autumn. It is expected that over 500 Taekwon-do students from all over the UK will descend upon Broadgate in the heart of Coventry city centre on October 13th 2013. Jade Jones, Olympic Taekwon-do 2012 gold medallist will lead the warm up.

The event will kick off with a large opening ceremony and several Taekwon-do demonstrations before the main event starts, including some very special guest appearances. The Guinness World Records adjudicators will be present on the day to confirm the success of the Official Attempt.

The event is in aid of Cancer Research UK.

The idea was conceived earlier this year by Balsall Common Taekwon-do instructor Stuart Pearson who is keen to welcome any Taekwon-do clubs in the Coventry and Warwickshire area wishing to take part. For further information, contact Email:
