Following the most professionally run winter coaching sessions in their club history, Berkswell Cricket Club reported a record turnout for their youngest age groups when their outdoor coaching resumed last week.

The outdoors sessions take place at Berkswell’s home ground on Meeting House Lane in Balsall Common on Tuesdays and Thursdays, in partnership with cricket consultancy Complete Cricket. The partnership arrangement offers youngsters regular access to the best coaches around, often in the form of current or former professional cricketers. Berkswell Cricket Club’s own senior club skipper and former Warwickshire batting legend Dominic Ostler also happens to be Complete Cricket’s Head Batting Coach and will often be seen on the ground through the summer working with the boys.
