Pudding lovers with no plans for this evening may wish to consider heading down to Haigs Hotel’s brasserie where they’re running a special main course menu option followed by an eight-variety pudding-fest.
The puddings you can expect to se include:
Banana and toffee cheesecake
Plum sponge pudding
Sticky toffee pudding
Dutch apple flan
Chocolate and pear tart
Creme caramel with caramel sauce
Layers of meringue, cream with a compote of berries
All the desserts come with a choice of cream, custard or ice cream.
Attendees will be invited to vote for their favourite puddings and suggest dishes for future pudding-fests. The main course meal and 8 puddings comes in at a very reasonable £14.50 per head.
