Berkswell’s cricketers quickly turned their attention towards a mouthwatering Birmingham League 20 over knockout clash against Knowle and Dorridge this Wednesday at Meeting House Lane, after seeing Saturday’s Birmingham League Premier Division fixture against struggling Wellington lost to rain. Luckily the weekend weather intervened in spectacular fashion almost everywhere, meaning 2nd placed Berkswell only lost one point on the day to league leaders Walsall.
Berkswell, who won the Birmingham League T20 Cup in 2010, entertain strong 2nd round opposition, in the form of fellow Premier Division side Knowle and Dorridge at Meeting House Lane. All visitors are welcome to come and see the action, which gets underway from 6.30pm.
