Such Sweet Memories as Balsall Common celebrates Queen’s Diamond Jubilee

Balsall Common retailer Sweet Memories is gearing up for the Queen’s Jubilee in a big way as they prepare for their participation in the Lions Garden Fete and Party in the Park on Tuesday 5th June on Meeting House Lane.

In addition to the range of traditional sweets for which they are best known, they will also be selling candy floss, toffee apples and fresh-blend Mr Whippy, alongside locally produced Henley Ice Creams.

The shop’s preparations for the big event are well underway and we can highly recommend the shop’s new Mr Whippy ice creams, a highly enjoyable new addition to their Kenilworth Road store in Balsall Common. We tried out the vanilla and strawberry ice cream combination with raspberry sauce (and Smarties!) and it tasted awesome. Why not try some today, while it’s hot and sunny!
