Take That tribute act to perform at Balsall Common Jubilee Fete and Party in the Park

The Balsall Common Lions have lined up a Take That tribute act to perform at their Balsall Common Jubilee Fete and Party in the Park on Tuesday 5th June 2012. The event which marks the official Jubilee of the Queen on the officially designated National Holiday, will be taking place at the Lant Sports and Community ground on Meeting House Lane in Balsall Commmon.
Lions President and event co-ordinator Marie-Louise Marsden said:

“We’re really excited to have secured our Take That slot for such a big occasion and really pleased how well plans for the event are progressing generally.  It’s going to be great day out for all the family. We’ll be keeping people informed of developments through the Bugle and BalsallCom.Com”

The scope and scale of this event has been steadily increasing over the last month and it’s going to prove to be a great opportunity for local clubs, groups and businesses to promote themselves and generally be involved.

Anyone wishing to take up stalls (commercial or non-commercial), or provide demonstrations, performances or displays throughout the day is invited to get in touch with the organisers.

The Lant – Where is it?

The Lant Sports and Community Ground is situated approximately halfway along Meeting House Lane in Balsall Common.  The ground is used regularly by Berkswell Cricket Club and Berkswell and Balsall Tennis Club.  It is also the official home of a number of other local clubs including local football and hockey teams, as well as the Heart of England Offshore Cruising Association (and yes, YOU DID read that last one correctly!).
