Centre Stage 25 year anniversary spectacular premier

Centre Stage’s 25th anniversary celebrations really take off tomorrow (Friday 16th September) with their first night performance of their specially commissioned production ‘Something Familiar, Something Peculiar’ at the Heart of England School in Balsall Common.

The ambitious show is set to include excerpts from shows performed throughout the amateur dramatic group’s 25 year history such as: Fawlty Towers; Allo Allo!; Daisy Pulls it off; King Aurthur; VE and many more besides.

Whilst looking forward to the weekend ahead Centre Stage’s Carl Hemmings explained,

“We’re all looking forward to what should be a great show, loads of hard work has gone into this performance” and hinting at the grand scale of the event, referring to the league of technicians, stage hands and backstage crew he added, “it’s really exciting for us to have so many people involved for this important anniversary show.”

Tickets for these performances include a 2 course sit down meal too and some are still available at £15 a head (for adult tickets), which can be requested by emailing tickets@centrestagedramagroup.co.uk; or getting booking details from their website at: www.centrestagedramagroup.co.uk
