Summer fun continues at the Brickmakers Arms in Balsall Common

The Summer fun continues in Balsall Common tomorrow evening (Friday 5th August) as the Brickmakers Arms popular summer series of events continues with another live music and barbecue event, this time with music from talented acoustic duo Fingers and Fumbs.

“I’m so excited to have Fingers and Fumbs here on a Friday because Saturday is usually our entertainment night, as you well know” said landlady Victoria Hancox before talking about plans of more to come in future.

“We had a storming night with Lee Spangles last week, he was brilliant and we’ve had amazing feedback from regulars and guests who were there, so we’ve invited him back to take on a residency slot. We’ll be announcing more about that real soon.”

The Lee Spangles event also came in for real praise from Brickmakers stalwart Mark Chute who confirmed,

“Oh yes he was just a bit good.” [Editorial note – this is not an exact quote but captures the essence of Mr Chute’s zeal like tribute].
