Brickies summer series continues over Bank Holiday

The Brickmakers Arms summer season continues with a Bank Holiday special this Sunday (28th August) with live music and afternoon barbecue. The event sees the return of the hugely popular Mr Spangles who impressed earlier in the summer, as landlady Victoria Hancox explains,

“Mr Spangles was so popular earlier in the summer we just had to invite him back and we’ve been really lucky to get him back so soon for another evening performance. We’re looking forward to another relaxed trip down memory lane with a plethora of covers to suit everybody’s ears”.

There’s plenty more to look forward for people of differing tastes, what with coverage of this year’s rugby World Cup, the return of the fabulous and funny live performers Fingers and Fumbs “for another storming set” as Victoria puts it, plus the return of the Oktoberfest beer festival in November. Oops wait. No. It’s in October sorry.

The regular monthly Round Table Quiz night returns next Wednesday (31st August) too.
