Centre Stage announce open evening

Balsall Common’s amateur dramatics group Centre Stage is on the lookout for new members, from up and coming superstars to backstage hands and are inviting people to their open evening this Thursday (21st July) at the Heart of England School.

Centre Stage’s Carl Hemming explained to BalsallCom.Com how it’s all going to work earlier today,

“We’ll be holding a normal rehearsal night for our September show so people can get a feel for a Thursday night session, but we’ll also be running mini-workshops on areas such like lighting, sound, set design and makeup to give people an idea of the different roles that go into putting on a full production.”

“We’re really keen to gain new members of all ages for both front and back of house, so everybody’s welcome. We’re also asking everybody who hears our message to spread the word. It all kicks off at 7.30pm.”
