HSBC ram raid attack

There was a ramraid on HSBC today (17th January 2011) at 4.30pm. We know that robbers targeted the branch after closing as the ATM was being replenished with cash and that some cash was taken. An employee was injured. The brown stolen gettaway car was later found abandoned. Four arrests (2 men and 2 women) have been made.

  1. Evidently a dark coloured estate car reversed into the bank and some items were taken. This information came from an eye witness. The registration of the car was taken, but no doubt it was stolen. One robber stayed in the car while the money was stolen.
