Paddy’s relentless world record assault continues as he bags two more

The irrepressible power house that is Paddy Doyle continued to astound as he took his tally of strength fitness and endurance world records since 31st July to an astonishing 17 at Stamina’s gym in Erdington, Birmingham last night (Monday 6th December 2010). Balsall Common’s Iron Man, martial arts expert and personal fitness instructor collected two more world records as part of his current challenge to break UK athlete Paul Woodland’s record of 29 world records in a calendar year.

Paddy’s records this time consisted of two step up challenges using a 15 inch bench and carrying a hefty 100lb backpack. The first, a 1 minute challenge saw him muster a phenomenal total of 28, which he followed up with staggering 105 full step ups in five minutes. Paddy’s career record now stands at 197 strength, fitness and endurance records is now 197, of which 123 still stand today.

Paddy now offers people the chance to train with him personally and his doors are open for a wide range of individual and group training, available both on location and from a new purpose built studio in the grounds of his Balsall Common home. The former paratrooper offers one to one fitness training, martial arts and self defense training along with outdoor navigation and mountain leader courses. Paddy is fully qualified to deliver courses for beginners through to advanced trainees in many disciplines and positively welcomes people looking for an opportunity to train with a true world champion athlete.
