Unexploded World War II bomb found in Balsall Common home

An unexploded World War II bomb was found by startled workmen at a house in Dockers Lane yesterday morning. Bomb disposal experts summoned by Solihull Police confirmed the incendiary device ws live after carrying out an X-Ray of the cylindrical shell, believed to be a German pipe-bomb.
