Bank holiday August will see well known local artist and former Heart of England teacher Trevor Boult bring an exhibition of his works to Berkswell Reading Rooms from Saturday 28th August to Tuesday 31st August 2010. Mr Boult, who has won major commissions including works for the Queen, will be displaying watercolours, greetings cards and framed mounted prints, of which more than 180 watercolours will be for sale.
Trevor has recently had work accepted and exhibited by the Royal Society of Watercolour Artists at their Annual Exhibition in The Mall Gallery in London and visitors to his exhibition will get to see a full range of watercolour techniques on display.
The exhibition – which will be open from 10.30am to 5.30pm daily, until it closes on Tuesday at 1.00pm – will see a return to some of the canal themes for which Mr Boult was renowned during the 1980s, along with themes of a rural nature drawn from scenes around Warwickshire. Parking and entry is free and refreshments will be available.
Check the news page at the Trevor Boult website for further information about his work and exhibition and have a look at the preview gallery to see more samples of the work for sale at the exhibition.
