Solihull’s NHS Care Trust will be applying for planning permission for a new health centre in Balsall Common on Council owned land at Riddings Hill.
If successful this would mean the relocation of the existing general practice from Meeting House Lane to a much larger site with enhanced treatments and services.
Proposals to extend the range of services provided by the general practice include: Minor surgery; Pharmacy; Citizen’s Advice; NHS dental care; Midwifery; Health visits; Chiropody; Family Planning; Diabetes Clinic; Antenatal/Postnatal clinics; District Nursing; Social Services; Speech and Language Therapy.
The Care Trust is encouraging residents to have their say. They’ve delivered a large supply of feedback forms at Balsall Common Library. We’ve written to the Trust asking them to place a copy of their information leaflet on-line – if they do we’ll add a link from here.
In the meantime if you have any comments you wish to make direct to the Trust either go down to Balsall Common village library to pick up a form or write email the care trust at email@example.com
In the meantime we’ll be keeping an eye out for the planning application and will post details here when we learn of them.
