David Felthouse of the Balsall Common Residents association has informed us that the new Medical Centre for Balsall Common has been approved by Solihull council (SMBC).

Balsall Common Badminton Club (BCBC) have managed to get two teams promoted this season into the Premier division of Coventry league, elevating their club status to being one of the best in Warwickshire!

06/06/09 – Council considers option of new housing in Balsall Common
Solihull Council is considering ways of meeting government quotas for new housing and Balsall Common remains on the cards as a potential site for major housing development.
Optioneering has begun as part of Solihull’s Local Development Plan and Solihull Council has released a consultation document containing 3 options under consideration including one referring to a ‘major extension at Balsall Common and Dickens Heath’.
