11/05/06 – World record breaker Doyle to teach female self defence

Balsall Common’s multiple world record holder and martial arts expert Paddy Doyle is offering a self defence day course to local women at Berkswell’s Reading Rooms in early June.

Aware of the increasing threat to women on our streets Paddy decided to offer his expertise to help local women learn how to defend themselves.

The one day course, to be held in a relaxed environment will run from 10am until 3pm on 3 June 2006 and is available to all local women aged 16 to 60.

The skills taught will be suitable for use by people of all ages and the course costing £25 will include a diploma on completion and Paddy’s Fast Track Personal Booklet containing simple techniques for avoiding threatening situations.

Course attendees should wear track suit tops and bottoms or other clothing suitable for a day of practicle physical work.
