Newtown (1) v (2) Berkswell & Balsall
The B’s faced a gruelling cross-country trek to North Wales for their “top of the table” clash at the first game of the second half of the Coaching Solutions West Midlands Division 2 season. Almost as soon as the game started Berkswell were forced to soak up a period of prolonged pressure from a strong welsh outfit. Strong defence from sweeper Steve Graham and centre back Duncan Greenshields kept Newtown at bay in the first 15 minutes as Berkswell struggled to shake off the travel fatigue.

The endurance Champion is preparing for another demanding physical fitness record attempt on Monday 27 February 2006 at the Living Well Club at Brindley Place, Broad Street, Birmingham.
